2010-07-22 - New commodity division
Great Plains Stainless is pleased to announce the formation of it's new Commodity Division. This division will act as manufacturers exclusive representatives for the United States and Canada markets for a select group of Chinese manufacturers. Product forms to include: seamless pipe, large diameter welded pipe, plate, butt-weld fittings, forged fittings, and flanges in alloys 316 and 304. 2010-03-11 - 310 Forged Fittings
Great Plains is pleased to announce that we will be expanding our 310 forged fittings inventory. ETA will be early May. Please contact one of our salespersons for more information.

2008-04-11 - On April 10th, 2008 GPS received the "Export Achievement Award"
On April 10th, 2008 GPS received the "Export Achievement Award" from the U.S. Department of Commerence. GPS wants to thank all of its employees for a job well done.

2008-04-10 - Shanghai office gaining ISO 9000 certification
Joe Gibbons, CEO of GPS, has anounced that our Shanghai, China office will be creating QA program that will result in gaining ISO 9000 certification, this will be directed by our associate Daisy Wong.

2008-03-27 - Phil and Roberts 20 year anniversary

2007-08-09 - MetalSmith2 to be release at end of September 2007
MS2 is to be released live at the end of Sept. 2007. This will give Great Plains Stainless a much needed improvement in its inventory control software by giving its employees global access from anywhere in world with a internet connection.
